TT- Want To Feel the Rain

Another depressing-ish Raven picture O_o I can't help it--I love drawing her angsty like xD

The rain is symbolizing, in a way, the emotions Raven cannot feel. She cries, but she can't feel the tears as the sadness grows inside of her, because she might lose control of her powers. In my strange mind, I've imagined it as she has forgotten what it is to truly feel, but longs to experience it--the good and the bad--as if she were normal, even if it hurts her. Just to feel something without causing chaos to others would be a happiness in itself for her, I guess. Geh...that's the sum of my creativity for today >< Other people can probably make more out of it, sadly

This was kind of hard to do, I guess, because I don't usually draw profiles up-close, so I had problems with the nose Her neck is rather long, too (and the anatomy is probably completely off), but I think it looks okay. Also, the rain looks very cruddy >< I was going to color it in Photoshop, but I started shading and detailing before I got a chance to scan the line art *stupid Ashley!* But, I like it in black and white--I had a lot more fun doing this than I would have if I had colored it
