FFVIII--Liberi Fatali

FFVIII art! WOOT. Well, for me at least. I started playing it again a few days ago, because I'm determined to finally beat it, as we haven't and we've had it for...since it came out, maybe. But, that's because of many technical problems that kept occurring. Like the memory card getting something in it, and corrupting all the data, and then being unable to save until we got a new one, and then finally the Playstation itself getting something (I guess someone spilled coke or something...?) in it and dying. Luckily, the PS memory card works in a PS2, though, and I am now able to enjoy the game AND save it.

But yeah...the opening sequence was always the coolest, and it's what I remember most about the game sometimes. SO, this is basically an illustration of it, drawn on the Penguin Oekaki, and my second "real" attempt to draw Squall, and probably Rinoa. Rinoa's face is screwed up...along with the background. But, I like the way Squall came out, and I like the words. I tried to get as much reference to the beginning scenes as I could.

This game has been occupying my mind constantly lately, and everything I draw (along with KH)...so I might do more of it. But, on paper.
